Dear Dr. _________,

I am writing to tell you how upset I am at the way you have abused our doctor-patient relationship.  I am referring to the way in which you used your professional status to push your anti-gun political agenda during my recent visit to your office.  I found this highly offensive, but I was not in a position to object while I was there.  You will find some articles enclosed with this letter that call this sort of thing a "boundary violation".  It is also an abrogation of our business relationship, since I am paying for medical care, not political indoctrination.

I am especially angry when I think of the women and children who have absorbed your propaganda without question.  If they take your advice and give up the right to armed self defense, some of them will be raped, robbed, and killed because of you.  The next time you think about telling one of them to reject lawful gun ownership, look into their eyes and imagine how they will feel as they are being brutally assaulted by a criminal who laughs at your naïve, utopian notion of a disarmed society.

I insist that you refrain from such boundary violations in the future.  This is a very serious matter and I will not hesitate to take my objections to the appropriate administrator or medical board.

You owe me an apology and a commitment to stop this inappropriate behavior.  I will expect a reply within one week.

Sincerely,
